FAQ

  • We appreciate your interest in knowing where your clothes are made.
These socks are made in China and we have put that on the label in pictures. Hemp is grown sustainably in China, which is the largest producer of hemp.
But we proudly designed them here in Seattle and we mentioned that too 🙂 You will love these socks!
  • Hemp fabric is a type of textile that is made using fibers from the stalks of the Cannabis sativa plant. This plant has been recognized as a source of extraordinarily tensile and durable textile fibers for millennia, but the psychoactive qualities of Cannabis sativa have recently made it harder for farmers to produce this immensely beneficial crop.
  • Clothing made of hemp fiber is lightweight and absorbent, with three times the tensile strength of cotton.
  • UV and mold-resistant, hemp is excellent for outdoor wear.
  • Hemp can be blended with other fibers for different qualities in the garment. Hemp/cotton garments are now available for added comfort.
  • Hemp farming uses very little water (half as much as cotton), does not require the use of chemical pesticides or fertilizers, and is a readily renewable resource.
  • Socks with just hemp and cotton will not be wearable as they will not stretch and will sag to the bottom. There is elastane in all socks in the market, which will keep socks nice and snug.
